Hi I'm Mia the proud owner of Dotty about Dogs Pet Care Services which I established in March 2023.
Dotty about Dogs was started to fulfil my passion of working and caring for dogs and also to provide a reliable and trustworthy service for dog owners. In 2022 during Covid I noticed an increase in dogs locally but owners need to work and also need to take holidays. During which time owners want reliable and trustworthy people to take care of their best friend so they feel confident that their dog is well looked after, socialised and taken on exciting adventures This is where Dotty about Dogs pet care is required.
Dotty our own dog is often found on the adventures having fun with the crew and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Group Walks
At Dotty about Dogs we keep the group walks small ideally 3-4 dogs so that each dog gets the attention they require. It also means the crew can be taken to different environments which provide lots of different smells, varied stimulation and exploration. Each walk is tailored to the group and can be changed if the weather requires.
Home boarding and Day care (coming soon)
Home boarding and doggy day care is a service that is also in demand. Like many other dog owners whilst on holiday I want Dotty to be looked after in a home from home environment where she can be herself . I am lucky that I have a family member to take care of Dotty but not everyone is so fortunate.
Our aim at Dotty about Dogs is to to provide such an environment. We want Your dog to feel comfortable , free and content to be themselves. They will have lots of adventures with the Dotty about Dogs crew , make many new friends and most importantly receive endless cuddles from myself, James and Austin. They will be treated like part of our family.
We are lucky to have a large enclosed garden where the dogs are free to run, play explore and use the exercise equipment we have installed. We are also surrounded by the beautiful Crowle countryside and woodland which offers varied trails .
To get to know your dog we will do a meet and greet at your home. Next we recommend a stay and play at our home during which we will take your dog on a group walk. Finally we ask that your dog does at least one trial night or more if needed. This process allows us to get to know your dog slowly and allows your dog to build up their trust in us so they feel comfortable in our home you can then relax and enjoy yourself knowing your best friend is settled whilst you are away.
Not every dog is the right fit for us and Dotty just as we may not be the right fit for your dog which is why the initial meet and then trial sessions are so important .
